11 28 - Sally, you are not helping

When I am mowing the back yard, Sally Dumb-butt does not really understand that you are not out there to play with her.  Jumping on me and knocking over the bag of leaves does not really help.  But she has a lot of fun. 

11 23 - Leaves, Leaves, and more Leaves

 

 

We have massive amounts of leaves in the yard.  John mowed the front yard once while we were gone.  This is the back yard.  Now, I am spending every day mowing and bagging leaves because this is the last week that the trash people will pick up yard waste until March.  We compost, but this is too much to compost.

11 22 - Happy Thanksgiving

John and Ray spent about seven hours cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year.  Since we got home last night at midnight, John had already spent hours on the pre-preparation, chopping vegetables, making turkey stock, making salads and desserts.  It was an outstanding meal, and thank you, John!
