In 2004, daughter Susan was a sophomore at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Daughter Beth and I flew to Chicago to spend the weekend with her and do some Christmas shopping and have some fun. Susan took us downtown to the German Christmas market, also known as the ChristKindl Market. This is an outside market and it was very cold out. We bought hot, spiced, German Gluwein (pronounced Glue-vine) in these souvenir mugs. I use mine every year from Thanksgiving to Jan. 6th as my coffee cup at work. The water mug in the background has handbells on it, but that is another post for another day.

05 - Christmas Coffee Cup
